Millennium Science Institutes and Nuclei Activities Linked with private, public and education

This document summarizes the main activities developed with educational, public, and private sectors between years 2002 and 2007 by the Millennium Science Institutes and Nuclei financed by the Millennium Science Initiative (MSI).
Concerning the work linked with strategic areas of the private sector, stand out the impacts of projects carried out as a group with the banking, forest, mining, health, and environmental sectors.
With respect to work in the public sector, in key sectors of the national development the cooperation is multiplicative, as in energy, planning, fishing, public woks, health, legislature and ecological patrimony care.
In relation with the activities linked with the education, part of the Millennium Science Initiative’s objectives is the projection of its advances to society, for which the MSI Centres have played an important role in the natural and exact sciences educational environment and in training that education through the execution of seminars, workshops, courses, among others initiatives.
